This past Saturday marked a call for human beings from all tribes, cultures, clans and nations to take note of the change in the season and express a desire, intention, contemplation for a prayer for peace in their native manner.
We stand at a commanding crossroad that is visibly different than times before. A stargate is open and, through this new perspective, we have an abundance of talent, resources, and opportunities coming forward to take a part in this global transformation. Remain focused on what you can do. Remain present to how you BE.
Nothing is impossible, now.
As Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka battled each other — and the circling whipping wind — in
yesterday’s women’s championship during the US Open final, Williams emerged by finding a way to gain control of the match, using her own power and using the hardcourt to her advantage, rather than allowing the wind to defeat her. A great tennis match is less about the winner and more about witnessing the culmination of practice and the application of that practice coupled with the art of consistency, persistence, tenacity and ability to make readjustments, to regroup and finally, persevere. We also witnessed that same tenacity this week as Diana Nyad, age 64, overcame an ocean of obstacles to complete her heroic fifth and successful attempt to swim from Cuba to Florida.
It is easy to get frustrated with elements that “are out of our control.” In reality, nothing is in our control. Our ability to find the groove, to get into the flow of the energy force, our willingness to be persistent and not give up is what propels us forward.
I spend time meditating, walking, swimming, writing, reading, contemplating and in long conversation with depth and breadth because, over the years, it has become a recipe that has provided a substantial foundation from which i have received amazing insights through the revelations of ancient wisdom. I have learned how to respond rather than react.
During this campaign of a “Give Peace A Chance – Change for Peace,” we have provided a multitude of opportunities for you to explore new possibilities, exercise your strengths, talents and wisdom, and discover different beloved communities that are striving to discover a different way of “being.” Be sure to check our calendar out at http://thefusionfoundation.org
Peace to all — everywhere.
